Shortly after, Rainbow FC winger Tyron 'Junior' Kariuki doubled the scores with a skilful manoeuvre, leaving his marker bewildered and slotting a precise low shot past Sudan's goalkeeper Ahmed Alkhdeer. Not to be outdone, Aldrine Kibet extended Kenya's lead to 3-0 just three minutes later.
